Progressive Coalition Unveils TV Ad on behalf of Mark Andrew for Mayor
MINNEAPOLIS (October 14, 2013) - Today the Coalition for a Better Minneapolis unveiled its first TV ad on behalf of Mark Andrew for Mayor.
Titled “Mark” the thirty-second spot has already begun running on Minneapolis cable networks. It features firefighter Joe Mattison touting Andrew’s progressive accomplishments as a Hennepin County Commissioner.
Mattison is a Minneapolis fire department Captain and 19-year veteran who supports Mark Andrew for mayor because he will invest in basic public services and draw on his experience as a progressive leader who gets results.
“Mark created our ground-breaking recycling program, passed one of the earliest laws providing benefits for domestic partners, provided pay equity for women and increased funding for childcare,” Mattison says in the ad.
The ad closes with Mattison saying, “Mark Andrew is a progressive leader who will make Minneapolis work for everyone.”
The Coalition for a Better Minneapolis includes working people, teachers, firefighters and community leaders who believe Mark Andrew will keep our city on the right track.
